| WARNING! WARNING!
1. IF YOU ARE READING THIS ON A FRIENDS PAGE: This is a notice to alert you that this journal is being reactivated and retasked as an idea dump for myself. I suspect I will not be using much in the way of livejournal "cuts" as I spill forth paragraph upon paragraph about why I think that, say, I should be allowed to completely remake Snatcher. For example. If for some inexplicable reason I am still on your friends list, now would probably be a good time to take me off, unless you equate the size of your friends page to your sexual prowess. I am waiting roughly 36 hours from the posting of this message to begin my use of this journal as a well of the incoherently inane.
2. IF YOU ARE READING THIS JOURNAL FOR THE FIRST TIME: Be warned that below this point, you will that many entries are of a disturbing, even disgusting nature. I've attempted to excommunicate some of the more objectionable pieces, but I can't be held responsible for any trauma suffered from reading those things which lie deep within the darkness. | comments: 11 comments or Leave a comment |

Remember The Incredible Machine, that puzzle game from Dynamix? Remember The Incredible Toons, the really wacky spinoff? Remember Nazo Makai Mura: Incredible Toons, the Incredible Machine spinoff that featured Ghouls'n'Ghosts characters?
I doubt you do, since it never fucking came out in the US. But in Japan? PSX and Saturn releases! Everybody party!

IN OTHER NEWS.......
......robot cows.
IN STILL OTHER NEWS.....
There was a remake of the Kendo Rage fighting game for SNES and no one told me.
In other "where have you been all my life" news, Nage Libre on PSX. If it's anything like the first game, that means schoolgirl SRPG goodness.
Along the same lines, Paro Wars. You can't say that doesn't stir up unnatural desires in you.
And now a few from the "wtf wtf wtf" category:
[EDITED: REMOVED]
And of course, just in case you haven't already seen it...
[EDITED: REMOVED]
Oh yeah, and I'm back. I guess. Deleted a lot of the stupid depressing stuff. So tell your friends and family. Or something. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |

| There should be a Zombie Powder fighting game.
Seriously. It's perfect. It'd be like Guilty Gear, only Zombie Powder. You could be Falzon and summon his different sisters or use the different flame techs of Akutabi Gamma or smash people in the face with the Hell Train as Balmunk.
It would be fucking awesome
That is all. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| You know, I hate LiveJournal. I start getting absorbed into other people's lives and I feel voyeuristic. But it always cheers me up to see people who are infinitely more fucked up than I could ever be.
I wish I could stop thinking about Deus Ex 3. | comments: Leave a comment |

| Life has been beyond shitty lately, between finals I wasn't ready for and will likely lead to me failing all my classes, to parents upset over how irresponsible my aunt is, to bad health, to just everything that's usual for me.
It's obvious from the lack of desire to continue on explaining FTL that I'm not good at picking what ideas to post about (which was the point of this LJ in the first place), so I'll let all -1 readers out there pick and choose from this list what ideas they'd like to see me post long, ranting pages of crap about.
Anyway..( here )
Since I imagine most people couldn't give two shits about hearing about any of that, here's the lyrics to the ending theme from Skullmonkeys:
Klogg is dead and we want to celebrate it He's pushin' up daisies, former and belated That guy asked why we're elated - well Klogg - is - dead! Follow the bouncing skull!
Yes, Klogg's kaput! (no longer operating!) Retired, expired! (quite an emancipation!) Released, deceased! (gone bust, he's dust!) Let's hitch up our shorts! (And do a pelvic thrust - uhn!)
KLOGG IS DEAD!
He was dirty and obscene, and not a little mean... So we'll sing in one accord- now that he's gone to his reward! Klogg is dead, he's history! (why we shake our booty's no mystery) He's gone at last! (his time has passed!) Now we can go back to passing gas!
*belch* *belch* *belch* *burp* *burp* *fart*
Yeaaah, Klogg...is...deaaaaaaaaaad!
Be prepared for next update, when I post a lot of links that don't work anymore. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| So in Prince of Persia: TSOT, I just killed a CPU controlled character, the woman without whom I cannot restore the Sands of Time (ie, she dies, I lose).....she cried out at my treachery, then collapsed, and in doing so, fell from the platform we were on, down to the rocks below, and then through them, into a magical noclip universe.
Really. She went through several interesting colors I was not supposed to see.
This really is the most polished game I've played in a long time. Chaos Legion is nice, Superstar Saga was great and nostalgic, but within the first five minutes of TSOT, I felt like I was playing through Half-life all over again - all the magic, all the challenge, all the mystery lying around each corner. This is a game so polished you could probably see your reflection if you stared hard enough at the computer screen. Well, I mean, since it's glass and all, you...ah, I'll shut up.
Suffice it to say, if you've got the cash and the ability, this game is worth a rental at the least - it's that fantastic, no matter what your action skills. | comments: Leave a comment |

| Nearly three hours after my thanksgiving dinner plate is ready, I get to eat it.
I love cats.
I love trees.
But why the hell is it that when you combine them, all you get is pain and scratches and pain and dirt and pain and cold food and PAIN?
at least POP: TSOT will be done in 38 minutes, at which time I can lovingly stare at the CD images and wish I had enough disk space to unpack them let alone install the game. | comments: Leave a comment |

| I feel sorry for my parents.
I can't even begin to guess how horrible it must feel to be faced with the constant reminder that, even though you gave 18 and a half years of love, care, help and attention to your only child, he still turned out to be a completely worthless shit.
But here's something fun for everyone! A quote from a Deus Ex "secrets" FAQ:
"Riot prods, batons and tranquillizers tarts are a lot more quite because they are not kill the enemy."
Wasn't that fun?
Anyway, as I'm sure you've probably guessed, I'm giving up on this whole Livejournal thing. As the saying simply goes - "Fuck it." | comments: 4 comments or Leave a comment |

| ...it was sure nice of Capcom to include an extra hard mode to appeal to true action gamers in Chaos Legion, but I wish they hadn't called it "Normal".
You know what, though?
Chaos Legion Tactics.
Seriously. Take the isometric spritesies of Tactics and Nippon Ichi games and make them over as characters and monsters and stuff from Chaos Legion. Turn all the stages into tilesets and all the "scenes" into seperate battles. Make special attacks into abilities and character combos, make the Legions controllable "minions", keep the nice music. Start out with the story of Chaos Legion, then an unlocked "Prelude" storyline to lead up to the main game, and then that unlocks a storyline that takes place after the main game. You can keep pretty much anything else.
Now there's a game I would buy. | comments: Leave a comment |
| "Bitch! You don't own Canada!" *whack*
I am very depressed and I have a very large cat in my lap. Also, Sword of Mana has a quite laughable translation. I wish I could play DoD or NS but I do not have time. That is all for now.
UPDATE: The cat has left. | comments: Leave a comment |
